  • TO ENTER: Sweepstakes starts April 21, 2007 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time and ends June 3, 2007 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the "Sweepstakes Period"). There are two (2) ways to enter:

    You may enter by mail. To enter by mail, hand print your name, complete street address, daytime phone number and age on a 3 ½  x 5 inch piece of paper. Mail in entries must be received by June 2, 2007 and must be mailed to: Valvoline “Crew Team  Member For A Day” Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 2888, Daytona Beach, FL 32120-2888.  Enter as often as you like, but each mail-in entry must be mailed separately in a hand-addressed, stamped envelope. No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected entries or postage due mail; or

    You may enter online at www.RacingOne.com (the "Web Site"). To enter, during the Sweepstakes Period, log on to the Web Site and follow the instructions given. All online entries must be received by June 3, 2007 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Limit one (1) online entry per name and email address per each consecutive twenty-four (24) hour period. The name of the person submitting the email address upon Sweepstakes entry must be the name of the authorized account holder of such email address, otherwise entry will be deemed void. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet Access provider, online service provider, or other organization (including, without limitation, a business or educational institution) that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. In the event of a dispute over the identity of a potential winner, an online entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry, and potential winner may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address submitted upon entry. It is solely the responsibility of the entrant to notify the Sponsor in writing if the entrant changes his or her email address during the Sweepstakes Period. Proof of emailing does not constitute proof of delivery or entry. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned to entrant. Every online entry submission must be manually keystroked and manually entered by the individual entrant; automated and/or repetitive electronic submission of entries (including but not limited to entries made using any script, macro, bot or Sweepstakes service) will be disqualified and transmissions from these or related email or IP addresses may be blocked. Any person who attempts to participate using multiple email or street addresses or under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter online multiple times during a consecutive 24-hour period will be disqualified.
  • GRAND PRIZE:  One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a trip for two (2) to the 2007 Pepsi® 400 race scheduled to be held July 7, 2007, in Daytona Beach, FL to be a Valvoline “Crew Team Member For A Day.” Prize consists of round-trip coach-class air transportation for two (2) people to Orlando, Florida from the major commercial airport nearest winner's residence, subject to availability, (if winner resides within 200 miles of Daytona Beach, Florida, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, limousine service will be substituted for air transportation), one (1) double-occupancy standard hotel room for three (3) nights (July 6-8, 2007) at an Orlando-area hotel, ground transportation to/from the airport and to/from the Pepsi® 400, two (2) tickets and VIP credentials to the Pepsi® 400 NEXTEL Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedwayâ on July 7, 2007, $200 in American Express gift cheques, a meet-and-greet with Ray Evernham, and an MRN on-air interview with Grand Prize winner during the Pepsi® 400 race. Approximate retail value of Grand Prize is $3,500, depending on winner's point of travel origin.  Any difference between the approximate retail value of the Grand Prize and the actual value of the Grand Prize will not be awarded to the Grand  Prize winner. Ray Evernham’s attendance is subject to availability and his professional commitments. If Ray Evernham is not in attendance, winner will not be entitled to any compensation and Sponsor’s liability shall be limited to the other components of the prize. Neither the Sponsor nor its affiliated businesses, including Valvoline and Daytona International Speedway, LLC assume or undertake any liability to winner or winner’s travel companions in the contingency that the 2007 Daytona Pepsiâ 400 race does not, for any reason, take place as scheduled.
  • All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are solely the responsibility of prize winner. Trip must be taken July 6-9, 2007; no alternative travel dates are available. If winner is unavailable on such dates, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. All travel subject to availability and restrictions. Airline carrier’s regulations and conditions apply; such regulations/conditions will be provided to winner at time of prize notification. Winner and travel guest must travel on same itinerary. Travel documents are the sole responsibility of winner and guest. If guest is a minor (under age of 18), guest must be accompanied by his/her parent or legal guardian who must be the winner. Guest (or, if guest is a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) will also be required to sign and return a travel release before any travel occurs.  In order to claim prize, additional releases and/or waivers of liability required by Daytona International Speedway, LLC and/or any applicable sanctioning body shall also be required as appropriate. Grand Prize winner and Grand Prize winner’s guest must travel on the same itinerary.
  • FIRST PRIZE:  25 First Prize winners will each receive a set of MRN headphones, Valvolineâ t-shirts, and autographed Ray Evernham cards. . Approximate retail value of each First Prize: $50.
  • DRAWING: One (1) Grand Prize winner and 25 First Prize winners will be selected from all eligible entries received in a random drawing held on or about June 4, 2007 by Sponsor. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
  • ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. YOU MUST BE A LEGAL U.S. RESIDENT RESIDING IN THE UNITED STATES THROUGHOUT THE SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD to be eligible to enter or win. Employees of Sponsor and Valvoline, Daytona International Speedway, LLC and all of their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, distributors, suppliers and advertising, promotional or judging agencies (collectively, "Sponsor and Promotion Parties") and their immediate families (defined as spouse, mother, father, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, grandparents and in-laws, regardless of where they live) and members of their same households (whether related or not) are not eligible to enter or win.
  • GENERAL:  No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted, and prize may not be redeemed for cash value. Prize winners will be solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes on prize. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. No groups, clubs or organizations may reproduce or distribute any portion of these Official Rules to its members. All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor and Promotion Parties assume no responsibility or liability for (a) any technical malfunction, failure, error, or omission with regard to any equipment, communication lines or systems utilized in the operation of the Sweepstakes and/or the transmission/submission of entries, (b) or any unauthorized access to or destruction of entries in the operation of this Sweepstakes, and (c) any incorrect data contained in any Sweepstakes entry or in the records associated with the Web Site.
  • ONLINE CONDUCT: The Official Rules will be posted on the Web Site throughout the Sweepstakes Period. Failure to comply with these Official Rules will result in disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or the Web Site; or to be acting in any manner deemed by Sponsor (in its sole discretion) to be in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in any manner deemed by Sponsor (in its sole discretion) to be unsportsmanlike or disruptive, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A USER OR ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
  • LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Sponsor and Promotion Parties, including, but not limited to  Valvoline, assume no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this Sweepstakes; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Sweepstakes; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of the Internet or the Web Site or any combination thereof; (e) any injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes or download any materials in the Sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, then Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In such event, the prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible mail-in entries received and all eligible online entries received prior to and/or after (as applicable) the action taken by Sponsor.
  • WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners will be notified by mail at the address indicated on the entry. Prize winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release with (where lawful) a publicity release within five (5) business days of the date on the notification letter as a condition of prize award. If the required documents are not returned within the required number of days, or if any notification mail is returned to Sponsor as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
  • RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By acceptance of prize, each winner releases and agrees to hold harmless Sponsor and Promotion Parties, including, but not limited to Valvoline, Daytona International Speedway, LLC their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives, the Daytona Beach Racing & Recreational Facilities District, the City of Daytona Beach and the County of Volusia from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes, or the receipt, ownership or use/misuse of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to and/or from any prize-related activity or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement or offering of the prize. Sponsor makes no representations or warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, performance or safety of any prize awarded. Upon request, having accepted prize, winner must consent (and confirm such consent in writing) to the use of his/her name, voice, picture or other likeness without further compensation for promotional purposes in any and all media as determined by Sponsor and where prohibited by law.
  • WINNERS LIST: For a list of winners, send a self-addressed stamped (omit return postage in Vermont) envelope before June 30, 2007 to Valvoline “Crew Team Member For A Day” Sweepstakes Winners List, P.O. Box 2888, Daytona Beach, FL 32120-2888.
