Rick Crawford, driver of the No. 14 Circle Bar Truck Corral Ford, will attempt to become the first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver to start his 200th race. In fact, the start at California is Crawford's 200th consecutive start in the series. The impressive start streak has earned Crawford the reputation as the Series' true "Ironman."
Since 1997, Crawford has made more consecutive starts than any driver in Series history - and all have come from behind the wheel of owner Tom Mitchell's No. 14 Circle Bar Truck Corral Ford, a rarity in present-day NASCAR.
In eight NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series seasons, Crawford has notched three victories (Homestead-Miami Speedway -1998; Daytona International Speedway - 2003; Martinsville Speedway - 2004), two poles, 46 top-five finishes and 95 top-10 finishes.
Prior to the Craftsman Truck Series, Rick spent 12 seasons in the NASCAR Slim Jim All-Pro Series compiling 111 starts, 11 victories, and 61 Top-10 finishes. Crawford also won the Late Model Division of the Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Fla in 1989. He also was the winner of two track championships at Pensacola and three at Mobile International Speedway in Alabama. Rick was also the 1981 and 1982 Alabama State Champion of short-track racing.
