Rick Crawford, set the record for most consecutive starts in series history in 2005 with 210 - and all have come from behind the wheel of owner Tom Mitchell's No. 14 Circle Bar Truck Corral Ford, a rarity in present-day NASCAR. The impressive start streak has earned Crawford the reputation as the Series' true "Ironman." The streak was ended at Kentucky Speedway in 2005 due to a qualifying accident.
In thirteen NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series seasons, Crawford has notched five victories (Homestead-Miami Speedway -1998; Daytona International Speedway - 2003; Martinsville Speedway - 2004, New Hampshire - 2005; ORP - 2006), 6 poles, 75 top-five finishes and 157 top-10 finishes. Crawford’s best points finish came in 2002 (2nd) and he has finished in the top 10 every year since 2006.
Prior to the Craftsman Truck Series, Rick spent 12 seasons in the NASCAR Slim Jim All-Pro Series compiling 111 starts, 11 victories, and 61 Top-10 finishes. Crawford also won the Late Model Division of the Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Fla. in 1989. He also was the winner of two track championships at Pensacola and three at Mobile International Speedway in Alabama. Rick was also the 1981 and 1982 Alabama State Champion of short-track racing.
