Born and raised in New York City, George has lived an "extreme" lifestyle, from snowboarding to driving a racecar. He plays golf and chess, has travelled the world, has cooked in the top kitchens, and traded stocks on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
There is very little that the competitive University of Miami alumnus hasn't done or wouldn't try.
While attending University of Miami, George continued to gain experience in the world of racing, driving in the Skip Barber Regional Race Series and karting. Following graduation, George moved to the Grand-Am Koni Challenge and then quickly up to the Grand-Am Rolex Series.
In between late model races in 2008, George netted seven podium finishes, finished 4th in the Rolex GT Championship, was named the MESCO “Building for the Future” Rookie of the Year and received the Bob Akin Award in the GT class.
George made his ARCA debut in 2008 at Nashville Superspeedway, in the Toyota ARCA 150. After qualifying an impressive 19th and running solidly in the top-20, George was introduced to the outside wall by a fellow drive, ending his day early.
George returned to the oval track at Talladega Superspeedway in October. Running in the top-5 with ten laps to go, and drafting like a veteran instead of the rookie that he is, George was the victim of another car’s tire failure. Despite the damage, George returned to the track and claimed a 20th-place finish.
George raced the 2009 Rolex 24 At Daytona in the No. 66 TRG Porsche GT3 with co-drivers Spencer Pumpelly, Ted Ballou, Richard Lietz and Emmanuel Collard. They started the 47th Rolex 24 in 26th, finishing 10th.
He was signed to drive for Eddie Sharp Racing full time in 2009 in the No. 2 Toyota.
