MRN Report
Posted Sunday, March 14, 2010

Kurt Busch had to wait an extra few days to make his NHRA drag racing debut, but the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion went out quickly during eliminations.

Busch, who was driving a 1970 Dodge Challenger, was defeated in the first round in the Super Gas division on Sunday.

Wes Neely defeated Busch in the opening round driving a 1967 Camaro. Neely went on to lose in round 3, but did make the finals in Stock Eliminator.

Busch also spent the weekend in Gainesville and met with the media and the stars of the NHRA.
