Clint Bowyer took the pole for tonight's NASCAR Nationwide Series Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona International Speedway after posting a lap of 180.701 mph.
Bowyer had to wait through a two-hour rain delay to claim him seventh career pole and first at DIS.
David Ragan qualified second for his eighth top-10 start of 2009 and his second in six races at Daytona.
Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski and David Gilliland rounded out the top five.
Terry Cook, Brian Keselowski, Mike Wallace failed to make the race.
Tonight's 100-lap race is scheduled to take the green flag at 8 p.m. (ET).
