MOORESVILLE, N.C - Team Rensi Motorsports co-owner Sam Rensi announced today that NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series driver, Johnny Borneman will drive the No. 35 Team Rensi Motorsports Ford in the NASCAR Busch Series 1-800-PIT-SHOP.com 300 at California Speedway. Borneman, 26, a resident of Ramona, CA, has made 42 career NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series starts and recorded two victories. Borneman will be making his first career Busch Series start. The West Coast star will team with Team Rensi Motorsports driver Bobby Hamilton, Jr. as he continues his quest for the 2004 NASCAR Busch Series Championship.

Rensi also announced that Pioneer Services, a marketing partner with Team Rensi Motorsports, will serve as primary sponsor for Borneman in the 1-800-Pit-SHOP300.com Busch Series race.

"We are real excited about Pioneer Services coming on board with Johnny Borneman and our two car effort for California. We have enjoyed our partnership with Pioneer Services and look forward to racing the No. 35 Pioneer Services Ford with Johnny," Rensi said. "We believe that Johnny is a talented race car driver and given quality equipment, he can compete successfully in the NASCAR Busch Series."

The California race will mark the second race for Pioneer Services as a NASCAR Busch Series primary sponsor. In addition to serving as an associate sponsor in Busch and Winston Cup races with Bobby Hamilton Jr. and Team Rensi Motorsports in 2003 and 2004, they sponsored Elliott Sadler in the 2003 season ending Busch Series race in Homestead, FL.

"Having partnered with Team Rensi through the past year on the Team Marines Ford, we are thrilled to be able to take the lead in supporting Johnny Borneman and the No. 35 Ford Taurus in California," said Stacie Hicks, Director of Public Relations, Pioneer Services group of companies." With our Team Rensi sponsorship, we will be able to further build and sustain our brand within our target market, the military community."

Borneman hopes his experience from NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series races at California Speedway will be beneficial in his NASCAR Busch Series debut.

"I couldn't ask for a better race team to make my Busch Series debut with," Borneman said. "With all of Team Rensi's experience, a fast race car and Pioneer Services on board, we are looking forward to a very successful weekend."
