Mark Jensen took over just about halfway into the race and as the track became dry he was able to move the car as high as 16th position before pit stops. He had to stop once more for tires and fuel with 30 min to go and got pushed back to 48th position but made an astounding leap to 24th place by the finish. After the race Jensen quoted, “Can’t thank the team enough for their hard work and determination throughout the weekend. Jim drove a flawless stint and was unbelievable in the wet conditions. Can’t wait to get to our next race in Barber Motorsports Park and build off of this weekend.”
“This was our first pro race and I am extremely happy with our showing. We are working hard to build this Rebel Rock Racing team into a serious contender and look forward to improving with each race. I must admit I thought I was prepared to handle the high level of professional racing and then the green flag waved and, oh man! I knew I was in for the ride of my life!”
